claims settlement.
I-ENG-A® of Northern Indiana is well versed in the intricacies that are part
of the insurance, loss and mitigation investigations. Our goal is to provide
the most efficient method of collecting and evaluating relevant information
and providing our clients with concise and timely reports. We understand the
value of time and comprehensive assessment in these matters and our process
reflects these considerations. Initial communications with our technical
team will consist of a brief dialogue to determine;
• Type of Loss
• Date of Loss
• Location of
Incident
• Name and Address
of Insured
• Name and Address
of Claimant (if different)
• Policy and Claim
Numbers
• Contact
Information for Adjuster’s Designee
• Estimated Value of
the Claim
• General Outline of
Policy Coverage
Based on the preceding
information, our personnel will quickly collect available records, documents
and any other pertinent information. If the Adjuster is unable to provide
such supporting documentation, our technical staff may employ alternate
methods for obtaining data relevant to the claim. If warranted, involved
parties may be contacted to arrange the forensic investigation at the
location of the incident. Upon completion of our investigation, the Adjuster
will be contacted to discuss initial findings and will be kept apprised of
the status throughout the completion of our investigation. A written report
containing all findings and conclusions will be finalized and provided. Our
technical staff encourages open communication with our clients to ensure
that all questions are answered and all needs are met.
If required, our personnel will
assist clients with preparation of interrogatories to be answered during
Statements of Oath and/or during depositions. If necessary, we will also
provide involved personnel for their expert testimony as to the conclusions
of our report.
